Who we are
SunGold Botanicals LLC is the brainchild of two long-time Oregonians- Josh Gulliver, compost wizard, cannabis lover, and innovative farmer, and Isaac Daniel, fermentation and value-added goods specialist. With the onset of the Hemp Pilot program in Oregon, Josh started J & J Organics with veggie farmer extraordinaire John Eveland, growing USDA certified organic hemp right in the fertile soils beside the Mary’s River in Philomath. As production grew it became apparent that there was a major lack of infrastructure to process organically grown hemp into certified organic full spectrum hemp oil and hemp products. This gave birth to SunGold Botanicals, one of the first fully USDA certified hemp processing facilities on the west coast. SunGold Botanicals has since grown into a central place in the organic hemp community of Oregon, using home-grown expertise to create custom extracts and build private label product lines. SunGold has also championed third-party certifications to help with transparency and integrity, including becoming one of the first Demeter-certified Biodynamic hemp processing facilities in the United States.

Our Products
We are proud to use our self-grown hemp and in-house extracted full spectrum hemp oil in all of our products. The SunGold Botanical product line includes tinctures, massage oils, lotions, CBD-infused coconut oil, lip balm, essential oil, and salves. Our interests go beyond hemp too. We also make herbal oils using home-grown certified organic herbs like arnica, calendula, plantain, and comfrey and herbal extracts like echinacea, elecampane, blessed thistle, ginger, and valerian. All of our hemp products are third-party tested for potency and contaminants in accordance with Oregon Department of Agriculture laws. We also have taken it upon ourselves to have additional testing completed for Glyphosate, aka Round Up. (Can you believe that State of Oregon compliance testing doesn't require testing for Round Up?!) All test results are available upon request. Just send us a message!
